Conveyor pulleys, produced by JSC PTM have a reliable design, ensuring their uninterrupted operation during the entire period of operation.

Types of produced pulleys:

Drive pulleys are designed to transfer the tractive effort required to drive the conveyor belt. The rotation of the pulley is carried out with the use of a gearbox or a gear motor.

Non-driven pulley are divided into head, tail (end), tension, reverse, deflecting, bypass, clamping.

Intended for:

  • tension;
  • increasing the grip force of the driving barrel with the belt;
  • no slippage of the belt;
  • change the direction of movement of the belt in horizontal inclined conveyors.

This type of pulley is used in tensioning stations, bending places of a conveyor belt, as a dumping barrel, etc.

Pulley are available in both smooth and lined (rubberized) performance. The drive pulley can be manufactured with two shaft consoles for connection with two drive mechanisms located symmetrically relative to the axis of the conveyor.

Barrels with keyway shaft

They represent a welded structure consisting of a rolled shell, two discs with hubs, mounted on the shaft by means of a keyed joint.

Pulley with clamping sleeves

A design feature of such pulley is the fixation of the shaft (2) in the discs (3) using a clamping coupling (4).

Pulley with clutch clamps have the following advantages:

  • Increasing of shaft strength, because its cross section is not weakened by the keyway, and the connection is insensitive to dynamic and vibration loads;
  • The design of the pulley allows you to transfer more torque, making it possible to install the barrels on conveyors with a more powerful drive;
  • Simplicity of dismantle and installation of a shaft at repair;
  • The design is protected from excessive torque by the set slip relative to the shaft or sleeve.
